Privacy policy
What this site collects, why, who else sees it, and what you can ask us to do about it. Last updated 22 October 2026.
Who we are
AWC Web Design is a web design and marketing business at 205 S Main St., Winnsboro, TX 75494, operated by JABstract of Winter Haven, Florida. JABstract is the controller of the personal information described here. Reach us about anything in this policy at Josh@awcwebdesign.com or (863) 602-6911 (call or text).
What we collect, and when
When you ask for a quote
The quote form collects what you type: your name, business name, phone number, email address if you give one, the town your business is in, the service you are asking about and your message. It also records the page you arrived on and, if you came from an advertisement, the ad click identifier and campaign source, so we know which advertising brings in work. We use this to reply to you and to quote the work. Nothing more.
When you call or text
Calls and texts to (863) 602-6911 go through our business phone system. Your number, the call record and the messages are kept there so we can follow up. Reply STOP to any text to stop text messages from us.
When you use the estimate builder or the review page
The estimate builder keeps your picks in your browser's session storage only, until you send them or close the tab. If you choose to leave feedback privately on a location page, it opens your own text or email app; nothing is sent until you send it yourself. Choosing to review us on Google takes you to Google, whose own policy then applies.
When you browse
Like any website, the server sees your network address, browser and the pages you request. This site uses Google Analytics to count visits, calls, texts and quote requests, with Google signals and ad personalization turned off. Nothing you type into a form is sent to analytics.
When you become a client
We collect the billing details needed to invoice you and take payment. We never see or store your full card number; our payment processor handles card details directly.
When you give us access to your Google Ads account
To manage advertising for clients, AWC Web Design uses the Google Ads API through an app signed in with our own Google account. Your Ads account is linked to our manager account, or you add us as a user; you choose that, and you can end it at any time. Through that access we read and change only what the work needs: campaign, ad group, keyword, ad and budget settings, conversion settings, and performance reports such as clicks, cost and conversions. We do not request access to your Gmail, Drive, contacts or any other Google data.
We use this data only to run and report on your own advertising: building and adjusting campaigns, fixing tracking, and the reports we send you. Staff read it only to do that work for you. We do not sell it, we do not transfer it to anyone else except as needed to provide that service to you or where the law requires, and we do not use it for serving ads, building audiences or profiling anyone. Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Report data we keep stays with your client records and is deleted when our work together ends, apart from reports already delivered to you and records we must keep for tax or accounting. To stop our access, unlink your account from our manager account or remove our user in Google Ads under Admin, Access and security, or email us and we will do it the same day. Google's own privacy policy covers how Google itself handles your account.
What we do not do
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with data brokers. We do not use it to build advertising profiles about you for other companies.
Who else processes your information
We use established providers to run this site and our business. Each receives only what it needs to do its job, under its own privacy terms.
- Cloudflare: hosting, security and content delivery for this site, storage of quote requests, and the email that delivers them to us. Cloudflare Turnstile protects the quote form by checking browser signals to tell people from bots, and may set a cookie to do so.
- Google: Google Analytics, Google Maps when you follow a map or directions link, and the Google Ads API for clients whose advertising we manage.
- Our phone provider, for calls and texts to our business line.
- Stripe, for client payments and invoicing.
- JABstract, which serves a small script from jabstract.net that lets AI assistants read this site's public information on your behalf. It sends nothing you type.
Cookies and tracking
This site sets no advertising cookies of its own. Turnstile may set a cookie for spam protection, and Google Analytics sets cookies to count visits. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the quote form may then ask you to call or text instead. There is no industry-wide agreement on how sites should respond to Do Not Track signals, so we do not currently act on them.
How long we keep things
- Quote requests stored by this site: deleted automatically after 180 days. The copy emailed to us is kept with our other enquiries.
- Enquiries that do not become projects: up to two years, so we can pick up a conversation you restart.
- Spam-protection counters (your network address, used to limit repeated submissions): about one hour.
- Client records, contracts and invoices: at least seven years, because tax and accounting rules require it.
- Analytics: according to the retention set in the analytics account, no more than fourteen months in identifiable form.
Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, correct anything that is wrong, delete it where we are not required to keep it, and stop sending you marketing messages. Email Josh@awcwebdesign.com and we will respond within thirty days. We will not charge you for this and will not treat you differently for asking.
Texas residents have rights under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act, Florida residents under the Florida Digital Bill of Rights, and residents of several other states have comparable rights under their own laws. We apply the rights above to everyone rather than checking which state you are in first.
Security
The site runs only over HTTPS, quote requests are reachable only by the people who answer them, and payment details never touch our systems. No method of sending information over the internet is completely secure, and we will not claim otherwise.
Children
This site is meant for businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
When this policy changes we update the date at the top. If a change materially affects how we handle your information, we will say so clearly rather than quietly editing the text.
